About Dr. Lauren Sireci
Dr. Lauren Sireci was born and raised just outside of New York City in Westchester County, NY. Between spending summers at her father’s dental office and excelling in art & science classes in high school, she too decided to become a dentist. She went to Loyola University Maryland and completed a major in Biochemistry with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Then Dr. Sireci decided to stay in Baltimore to attend the world’s first dental college, University of Maryland. It was there that she met her husband, Adam, who is also a general dentist.
While in her final year of dental school, Dr. Sireci was selected to be part of a clerkship providing free comprehensive dental care to female victims of domestic violence. She was on the board of both the Student Dental Association and the Hispanic Dental Association and helped to organize social outreach and volunteering events. Upon earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Sireci received the Dean’s Community Service Award. At the completion of her senior case presentation, she was also chosen for the Academy of Dental Materials Award and the American Association of Public Health Dentistry Award.
She then returned to the Northeast to complete a one year hospital-based General Practice Residency in Danbury, Connecticut. Here Dr. Sireci honed her prosthetic and surgical skills while treating special needs patients in the operating room, providing dental care in an emergency setting, and developing treatment plans for medically complex patients.
Dr. Sireci and her family live in Raleigh. They love to watch sports, travel, and cook together. Locally, Dr. Sireci is an active member of the Raleigh Wake County Dental Society and the Triangle Chapter of the North Carolina Association of Women Dentists. In addition, she is part of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and is certified in Invisalign. Dr. Sireci enjoys dental continuing education courses and looks forward to helping her patients improve their oral health and brighten their smiles!
